Looking at the title of the story, what do you think the story is about?

what I think this book is about  is that they're playing a game with a penny and if it goes heads or tales they win.

Referring only to the images on the first page, how do they support the title of the story?

That their by a corner of a street and and one looks happy and one look nerves. Also it look like a girl had flipped a penny.

What was the idea of the “penny walk”?

That hazel just flipped the penny and Loisa promised that she would play the game,because hazel liked taking chances and Loisa wasn't’ sure  also because it was getting late.

Where was Louisa hoping the coin might lead them to? Why do you think she was hoping for these two places?

Because she was scared and she didn’t want to do it because when your nerves you hop.

From the two places Louisa was hoping the coin might lead her and Hazel to, how old do you think the two girls are?I recommend they look like they're 12 or 10. Why do you think they are this age?Because if they were little they wouldn't really want to play like they wouldn't understand and also,because their quite tall

For what reason are you not supposed to look a Bull in the eye?

Because the bull and whoever puts their eye in the face it will chase that person because it has made eye contact and so it will make the bull chace.

Where do you think the coin tossing and “penny walk” will take the two girls? Granary lane .

Do you think what they are doing is a sensible idea/ why /why not?No because they might get lost and some one could get them so its not really a great idea of the game.

What do you think will next happen in the story?This is what I think will happen next is that Losia would run back home. Make a prediction?Lousia ran home and when she got their she smiled for the first time.

Summarise what has happened in the story so far?Losia had run back home and she had smiled for once.

Why do think Louisa said “lets not ask the coin here”?Because the place that they were in looked really scary to them so they didn’t want to do it like Losia was to scared.

Hazel said to flip the coin, why did Louisa nodd without saying anything?Because she was scared and she was looking around really scared in the cemetery.

Why did did Louisa not want to see anymore after she saw the gravestone?Because it made her scared and sick because she was starting to think it was scared.

What does it mean if you say something stubbornly?You're Using you emotions like what it means it is hard like stiff.

Describe a “boarded up shop”It means that it is up shop butchery like the shop i just up above

Do you think Louisa is still keen on the idea of playing this game? Why/why not?No because she got scared then scared then scared so I think she wouldn't want to do it.

Louisa thinks Hazel may have flipped the coin over, for what reason would Hazel do this?So she can go to the other one but she was too scared because Lousia just wanted to go home.

Where have the girls now ended up in the “penny walk” game? Do you think playing this game was a sensible idea? Give justification in your answer.No because you can get in so much trouble and get lost and your peronts.
